Job Description

Amplify Consulting Partners is seeking a highly motivated, full-time Analytics, and Visualization Analyst. The ideal candidate would be reliable, personable, and team-oriented. This position will work with stakeholders to develop and build reports/dashboards with supporting data models and measures leveraging a variety of tools to facilitate data insight conversations.

 

Responsibilities

• Partner with business/domain experts to understand the questions they have on their data
• Leverage modern BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) to extract and manipulate data from a variety of diverse source
• Perform analysis on datasets to understand data structure and possible metrics/visuals to answer business questions
• Work as part of a larger visual analytics team partaking in collaboration and assisting others when needed
• Genuine interest in visual analytics and openness to learn new tools in an everchanging space

Qualifications

• Excellent cross-group collaboration skills and the ability to influence stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, change in business requirements, and self-prioritize under pressure
• The ability to understand business questions/pain points and alleviate with supporting data
• Experience working with and extracting data from Snowflake DW and or Amazon Redshift
• Strong data visualization skills using Tableau
• Understanding of visual communication best practices, and application to design choices
  

Nice to Have

• Experience and understanding of a variety of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Good understanding of dimensional modeling and relational databases
• Some creative/design skills are a plus
• Genuine interest in visual analytics and openness to learn new tools in an everchanging space
